About Us

The mission of Region 11 of the Illinois Junior Academy of Science is to present science as a logical, rational and ethical observation and investigation of natural phenomena. Students are encouraged to develop and use critical thinking skills and to view the scientific method of problem solving as being relevant to society and the environment.
